Cutting A Cutter Quilt .......

Up late washing and cutting old cutter quilts. Here's the first one I'm cutting/working on. Boy has this quilt seen better days. The back was the worst as seen in the photo. The front didn't have one good square but the red accent pieces OMG are to die for. I see heart making in my future. Its strange how some fabric makes it thru time and other fabric just fades away. I wonder since the quilt had alot of red on it if the pink wasn't a different red fabric at one time. What color would the tan of been ? Boy I sure wish old quilt could talk. The stories they would tell.
